Toolroom Academy graduate Dave Baker is a house music DJ born
and raised in London but currently calls Sydney home. Having
played at various international venues blending mainstream house
with tech house and other sub-genres of EDM, Dave is also known
for playing techno, jackin’ house, and a more chilled daytime /
sunset vibe with organic, afro and melodic house.
Dave is the DJ, presenter and producer of the Hot House Hours
podcast, a show attracting up to 45k listeners a week playing
the very latest house music, and monthly specials covering the
above genres. The podcast is also repackaged and distributed as a
syndicated radio show across more than 25 countries and 75+
radio stations with a global reach of more than 1m listeners
in regions such as Ibiza, UK, US, Australia and Scandinavia.
Through his partnership with Techno Live Sets, Dave also shares
the same platform as techno heavyweights Jay Lumen, Adam Beyer,
and Charlotte de Witte, earning widespread praise for his
progressive style of deep, dark and thumping techno mixes.
Dave is also an emerging house music producer and has worked
with well known artists including Ben Remember (Toolroom),
Tim Green (All Day I Dream), Veerus (Drumcode) and
Aleesia (Spinnin’ Records)
