Niles Hollowell-Dhar was born on October 6, 1988, the son of an Indian emigrant.
While at Berkley High School, Niles met his friend David "Campa"
Benjamin Singer-Vine and formed the duo "The Cataracs".
The duo began to have success; unfortunately on August 23, 2012,
The duo announce David's departure, so Niles decided to produce alone using the name The Cataracs.
After that, Niles decides to leave the name of The Cataracs, orienting himself to another genre of music.
He currently produces EDM under the pseudonym KSHMR, specializing in Electro House, Big Room House and Progressive House and in 2017
launches his own record label, Dharma Worldwide
